Music. Community. Generosity. One good road.
The Good Road brings artists, businesses, volunteers and communities together through events that support local food banks across Canada.
Because doing good doesn't have to be complicated.
Sometimes it just takes someone willing to get the wheels turning.
Who we are
But we think an event can do more than fill a room. It can help fill a food bank.
The Good Road creates concerts, songwriter nights, community gatherings, food drives and special events with one goal:
Leave every community better than we found it.
Every stop brings together local food banks, businesses, artists, venues, volunteers and people who simply want to help.
Why the good road?
Sometimes we're just missing the vessel.
The Good Road brings them together. We create the event. We build the partnerships. We bring the artists. We organize the volunteers. The community shows up. And together, we support the local organizations already doing the work every day.
How it works
You don't need to write a giant cheque to make a difference. You might own a business, play guitar, have a venue, or just three hours on a Saturday. Bring what you've got — we'll bring everyone together.
01
We connect with local food banks and community organizations to understand what they actually need.
04
Artists use what they already have — songs, audiences and platforms — to help bring people together.
07
The community should be better because we were there. That's the whole goal.

The problem isn't that people don't care. Sometimes we're just missing the vessel. That's where The Good Road was born.
Maybe it's $100 a month.
Maybe it's a stage.
Maybe it's a truck.
Maybe it's three hours of your time.
Maybe it's just you.
Whatever you've got... bring it. We just have to take care of the piece of road we're standing on.
